I'm back on my feet after a back surgery that I forgot to mention before I had it.

I had DDD, Degenerative Disc Disease. No big deal, it's not life threathing, and by what I have found on the net, not REALLY even a disease. The last disc above my butt bone was completely gone and I have bone and nerve damage. The doctor's fixed me right up and I am doing great.

As far as my back goes, only healing pains :) My legs hurt really bad, but the doctor said my nerves are trying to wake up after a long sleep. (I've had back problems since 99', I was scared of having surgery) I'm back to work and doing much much better now. The month kooked up in the house holding the foundation down was horrible. I couldn't wait to be free again!! :)

I took pictures while at home and I've just started scrapping again. I will try to get back to posting pics and bs again.

Have a great weekend, Misty

PS, Here is a poem I would like to share....

SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Do you run through each day On the fly?
When you ask "How are you?"
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say "Hi"?
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.
