I've been horrible in not letting everyone know about how Glenn is doing. So many have asked and at one point I wasn't sure if I was coming or going. Can't remember who I've told and who I haven't, so if I haven't told you and your reading this.......here is the update........

Glenn is wonderful!

The doctors scared the shit out of us, but all is well. For the past 2 to 3 months Glenn has just been down, sick, not himself basically. He was getting headaches all the time and was getting to where he wasn't eating much and sleeping CONSTANTLY! And he is not the lay-around-kinda-guy. I asked him to go to the doctor and he did. His blood pressure was a little high and they did and MRI on his head due to the increased amounts of headaches he kept getting. They sent home with 3 different meds, sleeping pills, pills for the headaches, and a depression medicine. After the meds for a little over a week he went down hill, then the doctor calls and they found something in his brain scan. Of course we thought the worse during the several days of waiting till the appt with the neurologist. He got to wear all he did was sleep. He was feeling sick and leaving work early. At home, when he was awake, all he did was just sit around and stare at things. Then what really scared us, 2 days before the appt, his hearing goes out. He could hear and I was going out of my mind!!

Turns out he has an enlarged blood vessel on the left side of his brain. Nothing to be alarmed over, but it is the cause of his headaches, well migraines according to the neurologists. I just thought a BAD headaches was a migraine, but I was informed differently.

Bod his regular doctor and the neurologists agreed on the meds and another scan in 6 months. They believe his has sleep apnea, in turn causing him stress, and high blood pressure. They think the meds will work well, in hopes he will sleep better and rest. I am having to watch his breathing for awhile. I hope he will go to the sleep clinic soon to make sure all is well with his breathing while he sleeps. Of all people who need to go to a sleep clinic, it's me, but I really know what my problem is..........the closet monster.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes! Glenn was back or 90%, to his old self this weekend.
